Abstrak

Abstract

 

This research is motivated by the lack of student learning activities and skill of writing in four the dgrade in punctuations, choosing vocabulary tes, and choosing sentences. This study aimed to describe the use of CTL approach to improving student learning activities fourth grade Sungai Limau SDN 32 Sungai Limau Padang Pariaman. This type of research are Classroom Action Research (CAR)consisting of two cycles. The research location is

Sungai Limau SDN 32 Sungai Limau Padang Pariaman. Subjects were fourth grade students with student numbers 15 people. Instrument used are activity of the teacher observation sheet, observation sheet activity student learning and test at the end of each cycle. From result of research seen that ( 1) happened the make-up of mean percentage of student activities in writing class from 82,9% at cycle  of I  become 90,91%  at cycle of II (2) that happened the make-up of skill mean write composition of narasi from 75,76 becoming 78,88 at cycle of II.
