PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN TEKS CERITA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN STRATEGI DERECTED READING THINGKING ACTIVITY (DRTA) PADA KELAS V SDN 15 MALEPANG KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

The low motivation to reading students give influence on the low ability of reading comprehension of students in learning to read in the SDN 15 Malepang district South Pesisir. This is caused by the method of learning the lecture so that students are not motivated to reading. This study aims to descripsion the increased motivation and outcomes learned to read text stories on the understanding of students of class V SDN 15 Malepang  district South Pesisir. This research is a  Action Research Class (PTK). Data obtained during the process of the research analisis qualitatif and quantitatif. Learning strategies are used in this study is a strategy of DRTA. The instruments of the research using observation sheets, sheet question form, and student worksheets. Research results on each cycle showed an increase in the motivation to read and study results of students in understanding the text readings, namely the observation sheets based on the motivation of students increased by 40,94%, from 48,12% in cycle I became the 89,06% in cycle II. Based on the results of the question form, motivation reading students increased 17,81%, from 60,76% in cycle I became 78,57% in cycle II. Results of the student learning experience an increase of 17,64, namely from 60,47 on cycle I became 78.11 in cycle II. Based on the resultsof data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of DRTA strategy can increase motivation and learning results reading comprehension grade V SDN 15 Malepang South Pesisir.
