Abstrak

Research to Word Greeting Malay of Jambi Fresh Dialectal of Mengkuang in Fresh Orchard of Mengkuang District Of Limbur Deep Hollow of Mengkuang Sub-Province of Bungo Provinsi Jambi, felt important because representing a n effort to maintain national asset one of them can pass/through research of vernacular. Its, this research aim to: ( 1) mendeskripsikan form and consanquinity greeting word meaning of is core of and extended consanquinity greeting word in District Of Limbur Deep Hollow of Mengkuang Sub-Province of Bungo Jambi, and ( 2) mendeskripsikan form and greeting word meaning of nonkekerabatan ( common/ public greeting word, position/occupation , religion, and custom) in District Of Limbur Deep Hollow of Mengkuang Sub-Province of Bungo Provinsi Jambi. this Type Research is research qualitative, while method the used is descriptive method. Technique used to obtain;get data shall be as follows: ( 1) holding an interview with informan, ( 2) recording by means of ... recorder of audio. Data got from informan ujaran coming from original penutur of Fresh society of Mengkuang in District Of Limbur Deep Hollow of Mengkuang Sub-Province of Bungo Jambi. In this research of researcher hold an interview with four informan people three men and one woman. Pursuant to result of data analysis, hence can be concluded that in area of Limbur there are six greeting word group, sixth of the greeting word group shall be as follows: ( 1) consanquinity greeting word of is core of ( 2) extended consanquinity greeting word ( 3) common/ public greeting word, ( 4) religion greeting word, ( 5) position/occupation greeting word, and ( 6) custom greeting word.
