PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL SCRAMBLE PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 04 KAMPUNG OLO PADANG
Abstrak
The background of this research is lack of ability of students toward Indonesian subject on teaching learning process, then the teacher tend to use speaking and question and answer methods. The purpose of this research is to improve students learning skill in fouth grade elementary school 04 Kampung Olo Padang using Scramble model. The concept of Scramble creatively by arranging the words/letter are arranged randomly so as to from an answer or a pair concept in question. This study is a class action research (CAR). The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of the model can increase the skill of the students using Scramble model. This research was conducted in two cyles. The instrument of this research is the role in teacher observation sheet, observation sheet reading ability and achievement test. Based on the result of research conducted in class IV elementary school 04 Kampung Olo Padang, was ured scramble it will improve students comprehension it can be seen from the skill average increasing reading comprehension of students final test with result of the first cyle with an average percentage of completness 55,88%, increase in the second cyle was 85,3% (an increase of 29,42%). It can be said that Scramble model can improve students reading comprehension skills.
