PRINSIP KESANTUNAN BERBAHASA SISWA KELAS X DALAM INTERAKSI DI LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH DI SMK NEGERI 1 PANCUNG SOAL KECAMATAN PANCUNG SOAL KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN
Abstrak
This research is aimed to describe: (1) the kind of assertive speech act used students X at SMK 1 Pancung Soal in Inderapura Village, Pancung Soal Sub-Distric, Pesisir Selatan Regency, (2) the politeness of students X at SMK 1 Pancung Soal in Inderapura Village, PancungSoal Sub-Distric, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The writer uses Leech’s theory (1993) and Yule’s theory (2006) about assertive speech act, Leech(1993) about kinds of assertive speech act, and Syahrul (2008) about language politeness. This research is qualitative research with use descriptive method. This research is done for one week uses record technique by phone cell with students X at SMK 1 Pancung Soal as a source of the data. Based on the result of this research can be seen: (1) the type of speech act assertively stated as much as 9 speech, assertive speech acts proposed by 10 speech, assertive speech acts sugggest as much as 6 speech, assertive speech acts complained of as much as 12 speech, assertive speech act of expression as much as 8 speech , and assertive speech acts reported of 18 total speech, (2) politeness consists of six maxims, maxims of wisdom as much as 11 speech, generous maxims as much as 3 speech, maxims praise as much as 19 speech, maxims humility as much as 6 speech, maxims as much agreement 11 speech, and the maxim of sympathy as much as 13 utterances. The dominant linguistic politeness is violating the maxim compliment. In general it can be concluded that the speech act students X at SMK N 1 classified to positive politeness.
