PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA DENGAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE CROSSWORD SISWA KELAS V SD 20 KURAO PAGANG PADANG
Abstrak
The purpose of this study was to describe: Increased motivation ask, answer questions, give opinions, as well as learning outcomes in science teaching fifth grade elementary school students 20 Kurao Pagang Padang after theuseof active learning strategies Crossword type. This research is a classroom action research under taken collaboratively. The research instrument used was a sheet of student and teacher motivation and achievement test. This research was conducted in two cycles. The subject of this research is class V SD 20 Kurao Pagang Padang, a mounting to 20 people. The results of this study stated that the results of the analysis ofthe students' motivation observation sheet obtained by the average percentage in the first cycle was 28.3%, while in the second cycle the average percentage obtained 65.8%. Percentage of mastery learning in the first cycle was 11.1% with an average value of 50.3, while the percentage of mastery learning on the second cycle was 73.7% with an average value of 78.4. From the results obtained it can be concluded that learning science through active learning strategies Crossword types can improve motivation and learning outcomes of students of class V SD 20 Kurao Pagang Padang. Based on these results, it is suggested that teachers can use and choose the type of active learning strategies Crossword in science teaching in elementary school.
