Abstrak

There are several factors that cause low mathematics result of study. One is the lack of interes and attention of students in learning mathematics. Teacher have tried to overcome these problems by conducting a discussion of question and answer, but these efforts have not been able to improve students’ motivation and activity. To remedy this situation, one attempts to do is applying the cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) technics. The purpose of this study is to see the mathematical activity development and studentsresult of study after applying the cooperative learning model TSTS technics. after analyzed the data, the writer concluded that the results of student taught learning mathematics by using cooperative learning model TSTS technics is better than the expository method in class IX SMPN 5 Sijunjung.
