Abstrak

The process ofmathematics learninginclassVIIIMTsNThawalibPariamaninclinedin one directionfrom the teachertothe student.The teacherexplainsthe subject matter, givesomeexample problemsandprovidetraining. Student do the exercises individually. In addition,atthe time of doingthe exercisesonlypartiallyserious studentsworking onthe exercise, some arebusywiththeir ownactivities. Teachers alsogive to studentsthe opportunityto askaboutthe material thathas not beenunderstoodyetonlyoneortwo people areasked, in classdiscussionswere rarely donebythe teacher. Thisresultstudent learning activities are lessbecause ofthe lack ofdiscussionin the classroomso that thestudents' mathematics learningis low. Toovercomethisproblem, oneatemptsto doisto apply the methodBuzzGroup. From theresearch datathat has beenanalyzed, showed thatan increase inthe activity ofeachmeeting, andlearningoutcome datawereanalyzedby t-test, the datashowed thatstudents' mathematics learningoutcomeswhichapplybuzzgroupmethodis betterthanthe dataof student learning outcomeswhichapplyconventional learninginclassVIIIMTsNThawalibPariaman.
