Abstrak

This study aimed to describe the learning outcome of students in learning the theme of character by using the media image series in SDN 41 Kapuh Tarusan. This study is a Class Action Research conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2014/2015 in SDN 41 Kapuh Tarusan South Coastal District. The subjects were students of class I SDN SDN 41 Kapuh Tarusan South Coastal District totaling 15 students. The study was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisting of two meetings. The research instrument is the preparation of the image series, observation sheet affective aspects of students' learning and teachers. The results showed an increase in students' affective learning the first cycle of the first meeting of 44.44 and the second meeting has risen 57.77. Cycle II 71.10 the first meeting and the second meeting has risen 79.99. Completeness of student learning outcomes first cycle of 59.9 and the second cycle is 71.9. This means that the implementation of learning Indonesian character theme using the media image series goes well. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of the media image series can improve learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning manners in Class I SDN 41 Kapuh Tarusan South Coastal District. It is therefore recommended to teachers to be able to use the media image series in Indonesian language learning in primary schools.
