PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR DALAM PENERAPAN METODE DISCOVERY UNTUK PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA DI KELAS VI SD NEGERI 7 MUARO BODI SIJUNJUNG
Abstrak
This research is motivated from the fact that is found in a study by researchers as a classroom teacher directly in the field where the use of media as well as the methods used less precise and low motivation and learning outcomes of students in science learning. To solve the above problem researchers use media images in science learning through Discovery method. The purpose of this study is to increase motivation and learning outcomes of six graders n 7 Muaro Body Sijunjung. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK). The subject of this research is the sixth grade students totaling 20 people. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire sheet motivation, observation sheets, and test results of learning. The results of the research that has been done shows that the percentage of students' motivation scores on the first cycle is 79.21% and the second cycle increased to 88.69%. While the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 70% and in the second cycle of student learning outcomes completeness percentage increased to 95%. From the results achieved can be concluded that science learning using media images with application discovery method can increase the motivation and student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study conducted by researchers suggest that teachers can use and select the appropriate method or relevant in teaching them to use the media images in the application of discovery methods to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes.
