Abstrak

Research to language suavity of SMS (Short Massage Service) student to lecturer in University of Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin Solok felt important because representing a n effort to dig and comprehend etiquette in everyday life. This research aim to for the mendeskripsikan of Ianguage kesantuan of SMS (Short Massage Service) student to lecturer in University of Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin Solok. this Type Research is research qualitative with descriptive method which told by Moleong. From 26 data of SMS perceived, reason of student send SMS to lecturer can be grouped to become five form that is request of permit of kuliah, request confirmation consult, checking of attendance / readiness of lecturer, duty confirmation, and give information. In sending text of SMS the there are 4 text of SMS fulfilling suavity, 7 text of SMS which is decent enough, 9 text of SMS less decent, and 6 text of SMS which impinge suavity. Result of this research is found that still many anomalous English semester student 2014 / 2015 University of Mahaputra Muhammad Yamin Solok having problem in the case of moment suavity send SMS (Short Massage Service) to lecturer..
