PERANCANGAN SISTEM APLIKASI PENGUMUMAN KELULUSAN SELEKSI PENERIMAAN MAHASISWA BARU UNIVERSITAS BUNGHATTA BERBASIS SMS GATEWAY DAN WIRELESS APPLICATIONS PROTOCOL (WAP)

Abstrak

Valuable informationis needed by people today, with out anylimitation of space and time. The presence of mobile devices combined with communications technology and the Internet all it can become a reality. It applications insupport of the SMS utility to add the power of these technologies, which are systems that can be a gateway application (the gate) it will be the information needed by the client to the server, so the benefits for students who requirein formation that is not necessary to come to campus and can obtain information in the form selection test results of new admissions (SPMB) on the Bung Hatta University any time although prospective students are inthe area. In the SMS Gateway is equipped with incoming messages, out going messages, sent messages, a list of prospective students, import data, new messages, and userand WAP also features home, check graduation. The application system design SPMB based on SMS Gateway and WAP, it can easily provide information on the results of graduation Selection Admissions (SPMB) to give prospective new student information.
