PENINGKATAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA DENGAN PENDEKATAN INKUIRI DI KELAS V SDN 12 MUNDAM SAKTI KABUPATEN SIJUNJUNG

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in interest and science learning outcomes of students with inquiry approach in class V SD Negeri 12 Mundam Sakti  Sijunjung. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings (including one meeting to repeat). The subject of this study is the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 12 Mundam Sakti Sijunjung, which amounted to 23 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet interests of students, teacher activity observation sheet and questionnaire sheet student and student achievement test. Based on the research that has been done can be seen that: 1) the average percentage of interest of the students in the first cycle is 60% to 77% in the second cycle. 2) Student learning outcomes increased from 52% to 72% in the second cycle. This means that the learning of science using inquiry approach can increase student interest and learning outcomes Elementary School fifth grade 12 Mundam Sakti Sijunjung. Based on the results of this study researchers suggest that teachers can use in the inquiry approach to learning to increase student interest and learning outcomes.
