Abstrak

This research of background still to the number of there are mistake in writing of official letter like writing of sentence structure, usage of EYD, and word choice. Target of this research for the mendeskripsikan of effectiveness of writing of official letter in Office Sub-Regency Chief District Of Full (of) Kumun Debai Town River which cover word choice and sentence structure. Theory explained by Mustakim. this Type Research qualitative use descriptive method. Technique analyse this data is done/conducted by: (1) reading and comprehending outward letter in Office Sub-Regency Chief District Of Full (of) Kumun Debai Town River, ( 2) marking and noting ketidak efektifan of letter content on duty, and ( 3) grouping mistakes of the sentence pursuant to word choice and sentence structure. Pursuant to data analysis, hence concluded that there are mistakes at word choice and sentence structure. Of sentence structure which there are: ( 1) there are mistake him at opener paragraph, ( 2) owning is same mistake of clarity, ( 3) at paragraph cover/conclusion of incomplete sentence structure marginally, so that impress undignifiedly. While from word choice there are: ( this 1) letters have word choice at less precise opener paragraph and there are extravagance of word, ( 2) at paragraph of is core of effectiveness of sentence have mistake at election of word because there are imprecise words, ( 3) word choice at cover/conclusion paragraph, still less precise and less complete ought to be letter-writer pay attention word choice and equipment used to submit intention in cover/conclusion of letter.
