PENINGKATAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PKn DENGAN PENDEKATAN PROBLEM SOLVING DI KELAS IV SDN 27 TAMPARUNGO KABUPATEN SIJUNJUNG

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in interest and student learning outcomes approach to problem solving in class IV SDN 27 Tamparungo, Sijunjung. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings (including one meeting to repeat). The subject of this study is the fourth grade students of SDN 27 Tamparungo, District of Holy Sumpur, Sijunjung amounted to 15 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet interests of students, teachers activity sheets, field notes and sheets of student questionnaires and tests students' learning outcomes. The results of the analysis of observations of teachers in implementing the lesson activities with problem solving approach to learning achieved excellent criterion, can be seen from the average percentage of teachers 'activities increased from 71.42% in the first cycle to 90.47% in the second cycle, students' interest in ask a question increased from 30% in the first cycle to 76.66% in the second cycle, students 'interest in answering the question rose from 50% in the first cycle to 83.33% in the second cycle, students' interest in doing the task that is given teachers increased from 60% in the first cycle to 83.33% in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes also increased from 53% in the first cycle to 73% in the second cycle. This study suggests that the problem solving approach can increase student interest and learning outcomes.
