ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATEMATIKA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 7 PADANG

Abstrak

This study was analyzed the students error made by SMPN 7 Padang student in ”Perbandingan” materials, and to know the various factor that cause the students at class VII SMPN 7 Padang in made an error in do exercise about ”Perbandingan”. This study used descriptive method. The population was 8 class of grade VII students at SMPN 7 Padang. The technic sampling was purposive sampling, so class VII-7 was cooshen as a sample. The technique of data analysis used essay test, questionnare, and interview to the sample class an the mathematic teacher. The result of the data analysis showed that 1) conceptual error up to , 2) principle error , and 3) algoritma error . The factors made by the students in error were the students didn’t understand the question and the material, students careless, inmaximal learning strategy, unfacilitated, and high KKM used in the school.
