PENGARUH TEKNIK THINKING ALOUD PAIR PROBLEM SOLVING (TAPPS) DENGAN PENDEKATAN SCIENTIFICTERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 12 PADANG

Abstrak

The main purposes of this research were to find out the students understanding about math conceptually during the implementation of TAPPS technique with scientific approach and to make a comparison of students achievement by implementating this approach compared to a scientific approach. This research was an experimental research, the sample of this research were the students at grade VIII of SMPN 12 Padang. The research data was analyzed by using t-test. The results of this research showed that 1) the students understanding under implementation of TAPPS technique with scientific approach become higher compared to the scientific approch. 2) the students achievement in experimental class up to 64,5% and in control class was 40,9%. 3) the students understanding of math conceptually in experiment class was better than the students understanding in control class it can be seen in the result of their test. Based on the result of this research it can be concluded that students understanding of math conceptually under the implementation of TAPPS technique with scientific approach was better than the scientific approach.
