PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA SISWA KELAS V PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN STRATEGI CARD SORT DI SD NEGERI 08 KAPUJAN KABUPATEN SOLOK
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of reading skills of students in learning Indonesian particularly fifth grade students in elementary school 08 Kapujan Solok. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of reading skills fifth grade students using the strategy card sort Indonesian learning in primary schools 08 Kapujan Solok. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects were students of class V SD Negeri 08 Kapujan totaling 32 students. The research instrument used in the form of teacher observation sheet activities and observation of student activity sheet and the ultimate test of learning. Based on the research results can be seen that the percentage of teachers in the management of learning activities in the first cycle was 73.81% and 92.86% in the second cycle. The average percentage of the reading skills of students has increased from 53.54% in the first cycle to 83.86% in the second cycle. While the average student learning outcomes increased from 68.75 to 74.53 in the first cycle in the second cycle. From the results of this study concluded that the Indonesian learning using a strategy card sort can improve reading skills Elementary School fifth grade students 08 Kapujan Solok. Therefore, it can be suggested for teachers to consider using a strategy of card sort in Indonesian learning implementation in accordance with the material being taught.
