PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN SISWA KELAS IV DENGAN STRATEGI KWL DI SD NEGERI 24 PINCURAN GADANG KECAMATAN RAMBATAN KABUPATEN TANAH DATAR
Abstrak
The purpose of this study is to describe the increase reading comprehension fourth grade students of State Elementary School 24 Pincuran Tower Tanah Datar District of propagation. To improve reading comprehension then used strategy (Know, Want to Learn) KWL. KWL is a strategy that develops students' thinking will be more meaningful learning by working alone and knowing his own knowledge and skills they want. This research is a classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects were students of class IV. Based on the research results can be seen that the average reading comprehension of students was 69.73 in the first cycle and increased in sisklus II becomes 79.67. From the results obtained it can be concluded that learning reading comprehension with KWL strategy can improve student learning outcomes.
