PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE BOWLING KAMPUS DISERTAI KUIS PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS IX SMPN 11 PADANG

Abstrak

The low score of students in learning mathematica of grade IX SMPN 11 Padang caused by several factors, they are; first, learning process is centered by the teacher, second, the low of student’s motivation in learning so the feel bored to study and the last, just a few number of student’s do exercises very seriously in the class. One of the strategy that can improve student’s learning outcome is a kind of active learning study type Bowling Kampus with quiz. The strategy is a material learning repetition strategy, so the students can remember the material given. Meanwhile, quiz is an evaluation tool used to observe student’s understanding of the material had been studied. This research was aimed to know to whether result of student’s mathematic learning by using active learning strategy type Bowling Kampus with quiz is the better than using conventional method. The instrument in this research was result of test learning. Based on the result of data analyzing, it can be concluded that student mathematic learning result by using active learning strategy type Bowling Kampus with quiz is the better than the result of the student mathematic learning using conventional method in class IX SMPN 11 Padang.
