UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA DENGAN PENDEKATAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING PADA KELAS VII c SMPN 4 SOLOK SELATAN

Abstrak

This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes SMP VIIc grade 4 South Solok, through the approach of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). hypothesis of this study is "learning CTL approach can improve learning outcomes VIIc grade math students SMP 4 Solok Selatan. This research is the subject of a class action research study SMP fourth grade students VIIc South Solok totaling 28 people, consisting of two cycles are carried out starting from the date of May 23, 2014 until June 6, 2014. The data in this study was obtained from the results of the final test cycle I and cycle II. In the first cycle of 28 people who take the test, which completed 13 people, who have not completed 15 people with a percentage of 57.14% completeness. While in the second cycle of 28 people who took the test sisiwa 22 students completed and the 6 people who have not completed the completeness percentage of 78.57%. Based on the description above can be concluded that the study of mathematics is done through an approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) can improve student learning outcomes. Here researchers suggest to teachers of mathematics in order to use the approach of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) as one of the alternative to achieve the learning objectives.
