Abstrak

There are several factors that cause low results of learning math grade VIII SMPN 13 Padang, including math learning process takes place when the interaction between the two-way teachers with students and students with less students, students are still ashamed of asking and suggested, the ability of students in a given material that has been studied is still low, the liveliness of the students in the learning process is still less, students understand the material welland there are still serious students who do not follow the instruction. To resolve this issue, one of the efforts that can be done is to implement cooperative learning model of the type of Script that is implemented on a class of experimental samples of class learning and applying VIII2 discovery learning control of a class of VIII5 class. Research results from data that has been analyzed, the percentage that obtained the student experiment class learning activities generally increased from the first to the sixth meeting of the Conference. The calculation results obtained from and   , so   with hypothesis  is rejected. So the students learn math results implement cooperative learning model script is better than learning outcomes of students who apply the learning model of discovery learning in class VIII SMPN 13 Padang.
