Abstract
This research of background by lowering of result and activity learn student at study of class mathematics of IV in MIN Silambau, District Of Kinali, Sub-Province of Pasaman West. This Matter seen from phenomenon that student do not comprehend mathematics concept so that student find difficulties in applying formulas to do problem and lower him penalaran of student to mathematics problem so that make student demotivate to learn mathematics. Besides also seen from student seen less active in have interaction to among/between student with student, student with teacher, so that livelines of student in course of low study. In process study of mathematics, student tend to to be kept quiet. this Research type is Research Of Action Class ( PTK). Subjek of this research is class student of IV semester of I MIN Silambau, amounting to 20 people. Research instrument which is used in this research is activity observation sheet learn and student activity, and also tes result of learning student. Pursuant to result of research which have been executed, can be concluded that at cycle of I mean percentage of activity learn 76,67% and cycle of II 90,01%. Mean percentage of student activity in course of study of cycle of I 53,75% and cycle of II 73,75%. While complete result of tes learn student a number of 65% at cycle of I become 80% at cycle of II. From make-up of obtained score show study of mathematics pass/through Study Base on Problem can improve result and activity learn class student of IV in MIN Silambau..
