Abstrak

This study is based on the lack of activity of learners in the classroom Civics VIIIC in Middle school 14 Kerinci. The low activity of learners seen by the lack of oral activity of the activity of asking questions, writing activities in a summary, and mental activity in making conclusions. Problems found are less interested in his students in the learning process because teachers tend to use a lecture and questions and answer, so the teacher-centered lessons and the results are not satisfactory. Efforts to do to solve the problem is to use a Examples non example method. The formulation of the problem in this study is how to improve the learning activities of students in the class VIIIC in subjects Civics in Middle school14 Kerinci. The type of research is a class act. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability to ask questions, write, and mental students in the learning process. The subjects were students VIIIC class Middle school 14 Kerinci, amounting to 24 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet student activities, teacher observation sheet activities, and field record sheet. The conclusion of this study using a Examples nonexample method can improve students learning activities VIIIC class in Middle school14 Kerinci. Based on these results, an increase in student learning activity by 25 %. Therefore, researchers suggest that teachers can use the media and a variety of learning models to enrich the activities of learners.
