PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE TERBIMBING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 3 SOLOK

Abstrak

The low score of student in learning mathematics of grade VIII SMPN 3 Solok is caused by several factors, they are : first, learning process was centered by the teacher, second, the students who was dare to ask about the material has not been understand and last factor, students assumption that mathematics was a difficult subject. One of the strategies that can improve activity and learning outcome is a kind of activity learning study  guided teaching. Type active learning strategy is a type of guided learning or cognitive learning strategies that include information structures and concept. In this strategy, the teacher asked a question to student to determine the level of understanding or the conclusion of topies. This research was to determine activity and result of student mathematics by using active learning type guided teaching. The instrument in this research was observation sheet and result achievement test. Based on analysis of data, analysis can be concluded students mathematics learning result by using active learning strategy type guided teaching was better than the result of student mathematics learning using convensional method in class VIII SMPN 3 Solok.
