NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM KUMPULAN DONGENG ANAK SHALEH KARYA MB. RAHIMSYAH AR DAN IMPLIKASINYA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA

Abstrak

The purpose of this research was to describe values of character education in compilation of Dongeng Anak Shaleh by MB. Rahimsyah AR. The theory used in this research was theory of literature by Muhardi and Hasanuddin (1992), theory of folklore by Semi (1988), and about character education that is stated by Kurniawan (2013). The kind of this research was qualitative research that used descriptive method. The technique of analyzing data were (1) read and comprehended the compilation of folklore by MB. Rahimsyah AR, (2) wrote all of the data related with problems that are researhced, (3) described the situation from the data that had collected, (4) analyzed the data for getting conclusions, (5) did the implication with learning of Bahasa Indonesia. Based on the result of analyzing the data, there were thirteen aspects of character education: religion value, honesty, dicipline, hard work, to be creative, to be democratic, to be curious, to be respectful of on achievement, to be communicative, love of peace, to be dilligent in reading, , respect/ care with other people in social life, and responsibility. Meanwhile, five aspects of character education values that did not find were tolerance, independent, nasionalistic spirit, love of country, and care with the environment. This values of character education contributed in implimentation of curriculum 2013 of the second grade of junior high school at semester 2, KI (3) comprehending and implementing of knowledge (factual, conceptual, and procedural) based on: feeling curious about knowledge, tecnologi, art, culture, related with phenomenon and visible events. KD (3.1) comprehending text of morale story/fable, summary, discussion, procedure story, and biography story through spoken of writen. Based on the research, the researcher concludes that the complilation of Dongeng Anak Shaleh by MB. Rahimsyah AR containt the values of character education. So, they can be used as texts of learning and facility of character values formation by the teacher in school
