PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA GRAFIS KARTU DI KELAS IV SDN 03 ENAM LINGKUNG KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN
Abstrak
This study is motivated by lack of attention to learn and difficult to understand the material being taught sixth grade students of SDN 03 Enam Lingkung thus obtained less than optimal results. The purpose of this research to improve student learning outcomes in subjects math sixth grade students of SDN 03 Enam Lingkung using graphic media card to improve student learning outcomes, especially in problem solving fractional card. This research was conducted by using a Class Action Research (PTK), which is conducted in two cycles, one cycle consisting of two meetings. The data source is a sixth grade student of SDN 03 Enam Lingkung totaling 18 people. Instruments used are the questions in the form of picture cards, observation sheets, and test results of student learning. Based on the analysis of the use of graphic media cards are proven to improve math skills in problem solving fractions. Improved math skills can be seen from the results of learning in the first cycle obtained an average percentage of 68.17% and increased in the second cycle to 84%. It’s means that the target indicators in this study successfully. So, learning math by using graphic media can improve student learning outcomes. From these results it is suggested to teachers to use the media card graphics to improve student learning outcomes in math lesson.
