ASPEK KEPRIBADIAN DAN KONFLIK TOKOH UTAMA DALAMBIOGRAFI HABIBIE DAN AINUN KARYA BACHARUDDIN JUSUF HABIBIE

Abstrak

This research aimed to describe conflict primality of the main character on biography of Habibie & Ainun by Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, reviewed from personality aspect of main character and conflict that he faced. Concept of this research used psychoanalysis by Sigmund Freud (in Suryabrata, 2012), literary theory Semi (1988) and theory of conflict by Nurgiyantoro (1995). The type of this research was qualitative study, by using descriptive method. Steps of collecting data were (1) reading and understanding content of biography, (2) noting and remarking relevant data with research object, and (3) classifying data based on research problem. The procedure of data analysis were (1) analyzing data about main character’s behavior on biography (2) interperenting main characters’ behavior motif  based on his personality aspect (id, ego and super ego) and conflict internal and external, and (3) linking between personality aspect and conflict was faced main character. Based on data analysis result found that there are 7 data about id, 12  data about ego, and 14 data about super ego. While, in the internal conflict was found 9 data  and external conflict found 24 data. In the related data with id aspect and main character’ behavior emerge any internal conflict and in the ego aspect emerged external conflict. However, in the data linked to super ego aspect showed that the main character keep to effort avoiding the conflict inside of himself. It can be seen when Habibie was humiliated by his colleague and humiliate his relationship with Ainun, but Habibie responded by good words and polite. Based on these results, we can conclude that in the biography Habibie & Ainun Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie's work there is a relationship between aspects of personality such as aspects of the id, ego, and super-ego, the conflict is internal and external.
