NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM NOVEL“SEPATU DAHLAN” KARYA KHRISNA PHABICHARA DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA
Abstrak
This research aims to describe character values of education on the novel of “Sepatu Dahlan” by Khrisna Phabichara. This research used theory of character values of education was affirmed by Hasan et al consisted of 18 aspects about the character values of education. The type of this research was qualitative study by using descriptive method. The data collection technique was done by: 1) reading and understanding the novel of “Sepatu Dahlan” by Khrisna Phabichara at all, 2) noting all data related with the study object and clarifying the data based on the research problem, while the technique of data analysis used (1) analyzing data that have been classified related to studied aspects, (2) doing inteerpretation the data, making clarification, (3) making conclusion of research result. Based on the data analysis on the novel of “Sepatu Dahlan” by Khrisna Phabichara was found about 15 aspects of educative character values, those are religious, honest, tolerancy, discipline, hardwork, creative, independent, democratic, eager, respect to the acievement, communicative, love peace, environemntal care, social care, responsibility. While three aspects of other educative values, those are, love to read, love the homeland and nation did not found. The character values of education on the novel of “Sepatu Dahlan” by Khrisna Phabichara and its implication toward Indonesian language learning can be applied in the curriculum of 2013 at SMA Class XII Semester I to K1 (3) and KD (3.3). For that reason can be concluded that the novel of “Sepatu Dahlan” by Khrisna Phabichara narrated many character values of education and can be applied into Indonesian language learning.
