Abstrak

Contextual Teaching and Learning is a learning concept that help teachers link between the material being taught by real-world situations students and encourage students to make connections between their knowledge with applicability in mareka life as a member of the family and society. Contextual Teaching and Learning approach can be implemented well, demanded the ability of teachers who are innovative, creative, dynamic, effective, and efficient in order to create a conducive learning. Teachers no longer be the only resource in learning and student activities have been turned into a center of learning activities and the role of the teacher only as a motivator and facilitator, the spirit of the students can be increased by using the methods, materials, and varying media. Implementation activities or membangn construct their own knowledge to the students, making students trained to reason and think critically through inquiry or find their own problems, freedom of inquiry (questioning), the application of community learning (learning community) that trains students to work together, sharing ideas, share experiences, knowledge, communicate with each other so that the positive interaction between students and ultimately students actively engaged in learning together.
