Abstrak

The low score of students in learning mathematics of grade VIII MTsN Pasir Talang Solok Selatan District because by several factors, including learning remains largely centered on the teacher, when doing exercises only a few students are working on in earnest, because students who do not understand do not want asked a friend who understands the material and to the teacher. Students who understand the material complete the exercise individually and there is no interaction between the students in doing the exercise, resulting in less active students and students are also not used to solve a math problem with a friend to be able to share their knowledge. One strategy that can improve the results of students' mathematics learning is an active learning strategy types actively share knowledge. Type of active learning strategies to actively share knowledge this is one strategy that emphasizes students to share knowledge so as to provide an opportunity for students to share knowledge with friends and his knowledge of the students could be remembered. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics using active learning strategies types actively share knowledge better than learning outcomes of students learning mathematics using conventional learning in eighth grade students MTsN Pasir Talang Solok Selatan District. Instruments in this study is the achievement test. Based on the analysis of data, it can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes learning to use active learning strategies types actively share knowledge better than the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics using conventional learning in class VIII MTsN Pasir Talang Solok Selatan District.
