Abstract

There are many things that’s cause  result of learning mathematic for students in SMPN 23 Padang did not pass it was caused many students did not give attention when the teacher explained the lesson. The lesson just centered to the teacher, the low response of students in quality and quantity, students often forget to learning materials and student learning equipment still lacking. There for, researcher try to do observation so that they know result of learning mathematic for the students using learning strategy: active learning type giving questions and getting answer it is better than learning strategy conventional in class VIII SMPN 23 Padang, the writer sugest the mathematic teacher can use learning strategy active learning type giving questions and getting answer as on alternative to get goal in learning process.
