PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DENGAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DI SDN 09 PASAMAN

ABSTRACT
The low yield learning and communication skills of students in sdn 09 Pasaman caused by the learning method which is still conventional. The research described about improving communication skills and student learning outcomes class IV within on learning mathematics using problem based learning model in SDN 09 Pasaman. The type of research used in this research is theclass action research. The subject of this research is the students class IV, which contain 33 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet activities of teachers, student and the communication observation sheets final test cycle. The results showed that the communication skills of students obtained the percentage of each indikatorin cycles I and II i.e. respect increased from 39,06% to 76,38%, the second indicator that is audible increased from 34,37% 70,32% and became the third indicator i.e. clarity increased from 32,81% to 65,58%. In addition, the percentage of students who complete learning cycle I have 21 people ﴾65,62%﴿. While incycle II, the percentage of students who complete learning there are 26 people ﴾78,78%﴿. This means the implementation of learning math with model of problem based learning has been done well and can improve communication skills learning grade IV SDN 09 West Pasaman.
