Abstract


This research is motivated by the lack of ability of the students to discuss student activities and affective learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability of students to discuss the activities and learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. The data source is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 49 Kuranji Padang totaling 22 students. Based on the results of the analysis of observation sheets in the first cycle of activities students obtained an average percentage is 37.12% for the indicator to ask and 34.09% for the indicator answer the questions in the discussion, 43.18% for the indicator responds to learning, and 36.74% for indicators of the organization, the average percentage of students in the first cycle of activities is 36.74%, so the cycle I have not managed to achieve the target because students are not accustomed to discuss. While in the second cycle the average percentage is 65.91% for the indicator to ask and 71.21% for the indicator answer questions in the discussions, 78.03% for the indicator responds learning, and 90.91% for the indicator organization, the average the percentage of students in the second cycle activity was 76.52%, an increase from cycle I to cycle II.
