This research of background overshadow by lack of ability think critically of student in finishing problems of given by mathematics is teacher. This matter because of used study model less is guiding of student in finishing problems problem which is this research disajikan.Target of reseach is make-up of ability think critically of class student of V at study of Mathematics pass/through strategy of Discovery Learning. this Type Research is Research Of Action Class. Subjek of this research of class student of V counted 17 people. Research instrument the used is teacher activity observation sheet, assessment rubric think critically of student, and tes result of learning. From result of research, obtained by ability think critical which done/conducted by student in course of study mount from cycle of I to cycle of II, the amount of percentage of is make-up of ability think critically of student at cycle of I that is 73,2% and cycle of II that is 83,65% . while average value of is amount of ability think critically of student from 71,76 becoming 80,37 with assessment aspect three indicator that is giving simple Iesson, developing skill of base, and conclude. Become, study of Mathematics by using strategy of Discovery Learning can improve ability think critically of student. From result of research, suggested that by teacher can use strategy of Discovery Learning to increase ability think critically of student at study of Mathematics.
