PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENGAMATI DALAM PROSES BELAJAR MENGAJAR TEMA X REKREASI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA VISUAL SISWA KELAS II-A DI SD NEGERI 49 KURANJI
Abstrak
The aims ofthis researchwas to describe theability toobservestudents in gradeII-A onthe learningthemeXRecreationin49 Public Elementary School KuranjiPadang. The design of this research was aclassroom action research. The instrument of thisresearchare teacherobservation sheetactivities, the abilityto observestudentobservation sheet, andachievement testsheet. The subjects werestudents of classII-A, The amount are26 student. Results ofthis studyin two cyclesshowedan increase intheuse ofvisualmedia.The ability ofstudentsto interpret themediaon the first cyclein the amount of6,8(68,86%) andincreased8,4(84,34%)in the second cycle. Students’abilityto create a messagebased on what theyinterpretin the first cycleby 9,3 (93%)andincreased9,6 (95,84%)in the second cycle. It can be concluded, through the use ofvisualmediacan improvestudents'ability toobserve theclassII-A.Researcherssuggest thatteachers canuseandmaximize the use ofappropriate mediaineach ofthe learning process, one of them byusingvisualmediatoincrease theability toobservestudent.
