Penerapan Metode Inkuiri Dalam Pendekatan Saintifik Pada Pembelajaran Biologi Siswa Kelas XI Di SMAN 1 Muara Bungo

This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class using inquiry method to control class using conventional methods on the material excretory system MIA class XI SMAN 1 Muara Bungo. This type of research is experimental study with randomized control design only design. The study population was all students of class XI SMAN 1 Muara Bungo MIA consisting of 5 classes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, the determination of experimental and control classes randomly, then obtained experimental class is a class of 35 students xi1 the number of people and the control class is the class XI2 the number of students 35 people. Learning outcomes class average value of 77 experiments, 57 higher than that of the control class 72.00. The average value of psychomotor classroom experiment that is 86% higher than the value of psychomotor control class that is 85% and the average value of the experimental class affective 89% higher than the control class is 83%. The data in this study are primary data in the form of final test results further processed by t-test. From the analysis of the data obtained significant extent that is equal to 0.049 <0.05. In other words, H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. So it can be concluded, that there is a significant difference between the results of inquiry learning method with the conventional method material excretory system MIA class XI SMAN 1 Muara Bungo school year 2014/2015.
