Abstrak

                                    Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of the use of audio-visual learning media on learning outcomes XI.MIA grade biology students SMA Negeri 3 South Solok. This type of research is experimental study with randomized control design only design. The study population was all students grade 3 SMA XI.MIA South Solok which consists of 4 classes. The sampling technique purposive sampling and determination of the experimental class and the class lottery kontrolmelalui techniques, the experimental class is determined by the number of students XI.MIA.3 class 27 and class is a class XI.MIA.4 control the number of students 32 people. From the research results can be seen thitung (1.34)> t table (0.77) thus rejected H0 and H1 accepted. Therefore, the hypothesis could be accepted with a significance level of 0.05. Means the use of audio-visual learning media in a cooperative learning group investigation positive effect on learning outcomes XI.MIA grade biology students SMA Negeri 3 South Solok. The average value of the final test experimental class proved to be higher (74.44) compared with the average value of the final test grade control (70.31). The average value of affective and psychomotor experimental class, affective (88.23) and psychomotor (86.17) is higher than the average value of affective and psychomotor control class, affective (83.96) and psychomotor (83.40 ). Implementation of learning by using learning media audio visualdalam cooperative learning group investigation that can be varied with a pleasant learning strategies.
