This study aims to determine the validity and practicalities of modules produced by the display magazines in biology learning ecosystem material in SMP Negeri 3 Ranah Pesisir Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan and . This research is the development of the use of three stages, namely define, design, and develop from 4-D model of development, which consists of 4 stages of development, ie define (definition), design (design), develop (development), and disseminate (dissemination ) or adapted into a model 4-P. Subjects in this study 4 validator to test the validity and to test the practicalities performed by 2 teachers and 30. The data in this study are primary data obtained from the questionnaire validity and practicalities then analyzed descriptively. From this study produced a product with a display in the form of modules in the magazine on the biology of learning ecosystem material. Module generated by value - average validity of 92.42% is categorized as very valid by the validator of the feasibility of variable content, language, presentation, and kegrafikan. Module generated by value - average 83.58% practicalities practical categorized by teachers and by value - average 95.12% practicalities very practical categorized by students of aspects of student interest, the process of its use, increase student activity, time available, and evaluation. This shows that the module to display in the magazine on the biology of learning material produced ecosystems are very valid and very practical to use in teaching biology.
