PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE LEARNING START WITH A QUESTION DI SD MUHAMADIYAH SURAU GADANG
Abstrak
This research is motivated lack of activity of students in learning social studies in fourth grade student of MuhammadiyahSurau Tower. This study aimed to describe the increase in the activity of the fourth grade students in social studies learning through Learning Method Starts with a question in SD MuhammadiyahSurau Tower. Researchers disposable instrument is observation Sheet teacher activity, student activity sheets observation, field notes and documentation sheet. Based on the analysis of student activity observation sheet in the first cycle, obtained an average percentage increase in the activity of students in two sessions as follows: 34.61% for the activities make a summary, 38.46% for the exercises work activity, and 38.45% for activity concludes the lesson. While in the second cycle, the average percentage increase in student activity obtained from 2 meetings was 76.92% for the activities make a summary, 80.76% for the activity of making exercise, and 88.45% for the activities conclude the lesson. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can use and choose the approach, methods, techniques and strategies appropriate or relevant in teaching, which can use Learning Methods Start With A Question for improving student learning activities.
