This study aims to determine how the phase of practical implementation and the relationship with the student learning outcomes biology class XI SMA Muhammadiyah Padang Panjang. This is a descriptive study with a population of 24 students of class XI SMA Muhammadiyah registered in the 2nd half of the school year 2014/2015, with a sample of 24 students. The research variables are variables X (practical implementation) and Y (learning outcomes biology). There are two types of data, ie data on practical implementation (primary data) which uses questionnaires and secondary data in the form of student learning outcomes biology concerned that was obtained from a science teacher - biological value daily tests that subject area in practice. Data were analyzed using SPSS 16.0 and product moment correlation formula. From the research shows that the average sub practical implementation of the overall variable with a value (3.45) with moderate interpretation. At the stage of practical preparations in getting the value (3.51), at the stage of practical implementation by value (3:48), and at the stage of evaluation reports and practicum with the value (3.38). Correlation analysis using SPSS 16.0 with product moment formula gain significant r = 0.00 0.920 <0.05, it can be concluded that the relationship between these two variables and the practical implementation of a significant level of learning outcomes at the level of 0.01 or 99% showed a positive relationship between the implementation of biology lab with learning outcomes.
