PARENT EDUCATION LEVEL RELATIONS WITH LEARNING MOTIVATION OF BIOLOGY CLASS XI IPA SMAN 2 PASAMAN

The purpose of this study was to mengetahuai relationship education level of parents with motivation to learn biology class XI IPA at SMA N 2 Pasaman. This study population is class XI IPA SMAN 2 Pasaman enrolled in the first semester of the academic year 2014/2015 consisted of two classes XI.1, XI.2, the number of students 75 people. Data were analyzed by using SPSS 16.0 and Product Moment Correlation formula. Results of the study the correlation coefficient (r) 0.332 is negative and the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.110, which means that the perception of the students did not affect the motivation to learn, can not be a strong relationship between education level of parents with the motivation to learn. It can be concluded there is a relationship between the level of education of parents with motivation to learn biology class XI IPA SMAN 2 Pasaman.
