Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to reveal the Influence Approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Against Student Results of class X in the Subject Computer Skills and Information Management (KKPI). One way that can be used to overcome this is to use the model of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). This study was categorized as a research experiment. The population in this study were students of class X SMK 1 Sawahlunto 2014/2015 school year consisting of five classes. For a sampling of the population is done by purposive sampling. Taken as many as two classes, namely AK¹ and AK ². The research instrument is a cognitive test. Results of the second study sample classes were normally distributed and had homogeneous variance. Hypothesis testing is done with an average similarity test at level α: 0.05. The results obtained from t = 4.30 and 1.69 for tcount > ttable then reject Hº and accept H¹. Concluded that the learning outcomes of students learning KKPI using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is better than learning outcomes KKPI students using conventional teaching methods in class X SMK N 1 Sawahlunto. Study of theory in this thesis is the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) and cognitive learning outcomes of students. The authors suggest that teachers can apply the method KKPI Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) as an alternative to achieve the goal of learning and improving learning outcomes in SMK N 1 Sawahlunto.
