PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBASIS SIMULASI PADA KOMPETENSI KEAHLIAN INSTALASI JARINGAN LAN DI SMK N 8 PADANG

Abstrak

The media used in the learning process is still using Microsoft power point even though the facilities and infrastructure of the schools support for using applications other than PowerPoint but still not exploited better. That’s why researchers developed a learning media with the goal to produce media-based interactive learning simulation using Swish-Max applications on competency skills LAN network installation is valid and practical for the students of SMK Negeri 8 Padang. This research uses research Research and Development (R & D). The study population was a class XI student TKJ SMK N 8 Padang registered in the second semester 2014/2015 academic year consisting of two local. Total sample of 20 students that TKJ1 XI and XI TKJ2 in SMK N 8 Padang with 11 students from TKJ1 XI and 9 students from TKJ2 XI. Instruments used in this research is the data collection questionnaire validity and practicalities questionnaire to measure the level of validity and practicality of learning media. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of a percentage. From the analysis of the data obtained on the validity of the results is very good category at 90.7%, and the level of practicality media in good categories at   87.8%. Based on the results of validity and practicalities, it can be concluded that the media interactive learning simulation based on competency skills network installation Landi SMK N 8 Padang developed a valid and practical.
