Abstrak

This research is motivated by the low class v student learning outcomes in  learning IPA, good views of the cognitive aspects, affective and psycomotor. Factors that cause the low  student learning level of knowledge and understanding and affective aspects of the learning outcomes, as in the learning process less skilled teachers to implement the learning process that provides on opportunity to the student to build knowledge, so in the learning process of students just being a listener. Therefore sought for change to strived for change to improve the learning process so that students are able to build knowledge, critical thinking, and teaches students to have the skills to solve problems by applying the model Problem Based Instruction. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcome of students in class v by using model Problem Based Instruction in elementary 20 Kurao Pagang.  Based on research that has found that student learning outcomes in the  of 70,86 and the percentage of completeness of 52,18%, increase in cycle II with an average  85 and the percentage of completeness of 86,95%. Next, the results of student learning affective domain in cycle I gained on average of 68,2 and the increase in cycle II with an average of 82,33, and the results of student learning psycomotor domain in cycle I gained on average of 68,47 and the increase in cycle II with an average of 82,87. It can be concluded from the results of research model Problem Based Instruction application IPA learning can improve student learning outcomes can improve the Elementary class v in 20 Kurao Pagang.
