PENINGKATAN KREATIVITAS SISWA KELAS V MELALUI METODE PROBLEM SOLVING PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA DI SDN 10 SUNGAI SAPIH PADANG

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to describe the creativity learning fifth grade students of SD Negeri 10 Sungai Sapih Padang, with using the method of Problem Solving. The type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles. Subject of this research is the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 10 Sungai Sapih Padang numbered 44 people. Research instrument which is used in this research is student creativity observation sheet, teacher activity observation sheet and test result of learning. Based on the analysis of creativity learning, the percentage of each cycle has increased. The average percentage of student creativity for indicator to solve the problem in the first cycle 51,41% increase to 76,13% in the second cycle. The average percentage of student creativity for indicator to raise question in the first cycle 48% increase to 74,71%. The average percentage for both cycle is the percentage of completeness in the first cycle 49,70% increase to 75,42% in second cycle. From the data obtained it can be concluded that there is an increase in student creativity fifth grade student of SD Negeri 10 Sungai Sapih Padang at study of IPA, after using the Problem Solving Method. The use of Problem Solving Method can also be used on the other study that is more interesting to be able to get maximum results.
