Abstrak

The research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in primary school classroom 1V 14 Lubuk Alung Padang Pariaman. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcomes of students on the theme of beauty my country 1V class 14 SD Negeri Padang Pariaman Lubuk Alung using the model of Problem Based Instruction. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) is conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 1V grade students of SD Negeri 14 Lubuk Alung as many as 20 people. The instrument used observation sheet activities of teachers, assessment sheets affective aspects observed answered questions and express opinions, and end the cycle of cognitive tests. Based on the analysis of the percentage of completeness result student learning outcomes cognitive (knowledge) cycle 1, there are 9 people who complete 45% increase 85% to 17 students who completed the second cycle. The thoroughness of learning outcomes in the affective aspect observed was answering questions and express opinions in cycle 1 was obtained 44.17% increase in cycle II with a percentage of 79.17% increased by 35%. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning outcomes 1V Elementary School grade 14 Lubuk Alung Padang Pariaman District VI theme my country beauty through a model of Problem Based Instruction.
