Abstrak

Abstract
The purposeof this study was to describe the activity of Indonesia languag students in learning to use the model picture and picture in class I SDN 38 Solok Ambah, Kabupaten Sijunjung. This type of researchis a classroom action research. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycle, each cycle consisting of two meeting and one final exam cycle. The subject of this researchis class I SDN 38 Solok Ambah, Kabupaten Sijunjung whic hamounted to 22 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet student activities, teacher observation sheet activities, students' test results, field notes, and cameras. Based on the results of student learning activity observation sheet in cycle I and II, obtained an average percentage of the activity of the students answered questions and copying sentences dictated teachers in the first cycle of 66.5% increased to 79.1% in the second cycle. Based on the results of the study, the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle and increased 78.6 to 82.2 in the second cycle. This means learning Indonesian by using the model picture and picture can increase the activity of the first grade students of SDN 38 Solok Ambah Kabupaten Sijunjung. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can use the model picture and picture in learning to improve student learning activitie.
