HUBUNGAN SIKAP SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA-BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS VII MTSN PARAK LAWAS PADANG

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The aim of this research is to determine the correlation of student attitudes toward learning in biology study result at class VII MTsN Parak Lawas Padang. This is a descriptive study with a population of 211 students at class VII MTsN Parak Lawas Padang, the registered in 2 semester, academic year of 2014/2015. The samples were defined by using random sampling method from each class. The samples were 43 students taken from 20% from the total of population. Data were analyzed by using Product Moment Correlation. From the research shows that correlation have of student attitudes toward learning with biology study result. Calculation of coefficients correlation for every sub-variables , is a strong correlation between the sub variables attitudes of students toward material learning with the biology study result ( r ) 0.62 , correlation sub variable attitudes of students toward science teachers with biology study result ( r ) 0.66 , correlation sub variable attitude of student toward proces learning with biology study result (r) 0.60 , correlation sub variable attitude of student with values certain or norm related to a material biology study and there is a low correlation between sub variables attitude of students related to affective competencies subjects that are relevant to the biology study result ( r ) 0,36 . Overall variable attitude of students in learning science with biology study result obtained  the coefficient correlation is r = 0.855. Next step is calculation of the coefficient determination. Show that attitude of student have correlation with biology study result of student at 73.1 % . Based on the hypothesis test , obtained the t_hitung = 10.56 and  t_table 1.681 so thitung > ttabel. It can be concluded that there is a correlation between the attitude of students in learning with the biology study result at class VII MTsN Parak Lawas Padang at the level of 95 % ( α = 0.05 ) .
