Abstrak

Abstract

This study aimed to compare the results of studying biology at 1) Cognitive aspects, 2) aspects Affective and Psychomotor using learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning by Problem Solving class VII SMP 28 Tebo Jambi school year 2014/2015. The population in this study were all students of class VII totaling 41 people. A class where the experiment 1 (Contextual Teaching and Learning) and class B experiment 2 (Problem Solving). Based on data analysis 1) the average value of the experimental class 2 (Problem Solving) 70.5 and the experimental class 1 (Contextual Teaching and Learning) 57.63. 2) Affective and Psychomotor assessment also found that differences in the average value Affective experimental class 2 (Problem Solving) 76.30 and experimental class 1 (Contextual Teaching and Learning) 75.67 while the average value Psychomotor experimental class 2 (Problem Solving ) 71.8 and the experimental class 1 (Contextual Teaching and Learning) 60.66. 3) the value of t = -2262 and Sig.p = 0.030 with a significance level df = 37 = 0.05 means Sig.p = 0.030 <0.05 then H₁ accepted that there are differences in learning outcomes of students who are taught using learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning by Problem Solving. 4) and it can be concluded that using the learning outcomes of Problem Solving learning model is better than the result of learning using learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning in the ecosystem material.
